The quarter is mid way through, it's going to really feel crazy by the end of next week...but it's all cool stuff so no biggie. I'm feeling way better than a few weeks ago...just got into a funk and now I'm leveling out again...it happens to us all at times, and I think I was overdue, lol.

I'm going to do a photo series soon. I've wanted to do it for a while now, but it looks like I might be able to do it as a major part of a final for my ethics class, which is awesome, plus gives the added motivation. There is a photo on here called "A part of all of us" and ever since taking and describing it I've wanted to take a whole series of shots that describes the parts of the world that are a part of us, whether we acknowledge or not, and I guess, in part why it's going to work for the ethics class, our responsibility...regardless of faith or background, but particularly anyone who calls themselves Christian since it's such a foundational part of Christ's message...ie the beatitudes...so we'll see how it comes out.

Plus, I am watching Alias season 4, finally, it just came out the 25th, and so I'm way excited about it. Anywho...

Leanne will always be Kick

I am always going to be Books to her, and though she is now Leanne Lytle, she will always be Kick, lol. What a great wedding for two great people amidst the circumstances.

Kinda frustrated though because her photographer ran out of memory and so I took the reception shots and then he took her and I's shots on my camera and I hope they are not any indication of the others because all of her and I's shots were fuzzy and out of focus. Oh well...it's not like we don't have other pictures of us.

Hope you like the portrait I put up of her...it's one of my favorites from the wedding.

Fall Quarter has begun

So the fall is in full swing, reading tons, writing about what I'm reading, and loving it all. This year is going to fly by for me, I just know it. Classes are 10 weeks here, so that means, with the second week done, I have 8 weeks left and am 20% done. WOW. insane. Anyway...Leanne, one of my best friends is getting married Saturday...the one from New Orleans...way excited...and my dress is freakin hot!! LOL. So now Nikki is married, Leanne is getting married, they are dropping like flies, lol.

Anywho...loving grad school...Pasadena rocks....way excited about life in general and looking forward to what next year brings.

I might actually walk June 10th here...if all I have left is a field ed practicum than I can walk. Which means I'll be done by Nov next year...everything...crazy. So looking forward to see how it plays out and if I get the classes I need. Til later.

Summer Quarter Over

So the summer quarter is over...I'm done my papers and reading something for fun....which is totally awesome. Dreaming in Black and White is the first one, then Dreaming in Technicolor....must read for the girls....hilarious!!!!

Anywho...hoping to take some more pics while I'm free before the next quarter starts on me.
